Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Continuum Medical Staffing. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, treatments, and modalities.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a physical therapy setting.
  • Valid California License to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to lift light objects (less than 50 lbs) and occasionally push/pull more than 300 lbs.
  • Capacity to remain in uncomfortable positions for extended periods.
