Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Henry County Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality patient care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing staff in designated areas, working closely with nursing managers to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide advanced clinical knowledge and skills to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a positive and supportive care environment.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in an emergency care or intensive care setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
