Responsibilities- Obtain comprehensive patient data to develop a holistic understanding of patient needs and conditions.
- Analyze and synthesize data to determine diagnoses and conditions relevant to patient care.
- Identify optimal patient outcomes in collaboration with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
- Develop and implement care plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to achieve outcomes, using clinical judgment in collaboration with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
- Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, evaluating own practice and maintaining current knowledge and competence.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice, collaborating with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
- Use clinical inquiry and integrate best evidence into practice.
- Apply existing evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to critical care nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient-specific needs and clinical needs.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensure.
This is a full-time night shift position working 36 hours per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with an every other weekend rotation and a holiday rotation.
