About the Role

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist I to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders through bio/psycho/social department-specific evidenced-based assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to achieve patient goals and objectives.
  • Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, psycho-educational programming, and behavioral interventions to assist patients in achieving treatment outcomes.
  • Coordinate care to ensure patients receive and are referred to appropriate healthcare and community resources.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Science and Health or related field.
  • 0-1 year of experience in therapy, mental health/substance use disorder treatment, or psychoeducational programming.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute certification within 6 months of hire.
