JOB OVERVIEW
Under the supervision of the manager, the role involves providing personal care, self-help assistance, social engagement, recreational activities, and maintaining cleanliness to promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents within the facility. Additional related tasks may be required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual will be accountable for the overall health and wellness of the residents assigned to their care. This includes:

  • Offering necessary support to residents to uphold healthcare standards, manage medication, ensure personal hygiene, provide proper nutrition, and facilitate overall care.
  • Engaging directly with residents as assigned.
  • For residents requiring 1:1 supervision, ensuring their safety and well-being by maintaining visual and physical proximity at all times.
  • In instances where the staff member must leave the resident's side, they will coordinate with another staff member to provide continuous supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required, along with a minimum age of 18 years. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in the State of New Jersey to facilitate mobility necessary for fulfilling essential job duties.
