Hospital-Based Nurse Practitioner

Millennium Physician Group is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant to become a vital part of our Hospitalist/Inpatient Services team.
We are in search of a dedicated professional who is enthusiastic, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks while providing exceptional patient care. Our ideal candidate will embody our commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
As an advanced provider, your primary focus will be on patient assessments and care. You will operate under the guidance of a licensed physician, taking on responsibilities that include ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as laboratory analyses and imaging studies. Your role will involve diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, infections, and injuries. Additionally, you will have the authority to prescribe medications and implement treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.
Collaboration with the supervising physician is essential, especially in complex cases, to make informed treatment decisions together. Depending on patient volume, you may also handle overflow cases or develop your own patient base. Support may be provided by a medical assistant to enhance patient care and follow-up.

- Active Florida APRN or PA License & Board Certification
To excel in this role, candidates should possess strong computer proficiency and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; experience with Athena is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical demands of the position include frequent standing, walking, climbing, and balancing, with occasional requirements for sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally is necessary.
Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
