Join Our Team as a Pediatric Physical Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of children and their families.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide functional rehabilitation to children in our outpatient clinic. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing evaluations and developing treatment plans, regularly reassessing effectiveness, and communicating with the treatment team, physician, and family members.

Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences
  • Perform discharge evaluations and make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members
  • Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • A current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state where you will be practicing
  • Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a pediatric setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
