Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Aide to join our team. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing comfort care to patients, enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to meet each patient's unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, enhancing their quality of life every day.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comfort care to patients, including personal care, light housekeeping, and emotional support.
- Work as a member of the hospice team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address each patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, promoting a sense of comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification highly preferred.
- In states where licensure is not required, applicants must meet one of the following:
- They are already a licensed/certified aide.
- They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program and have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months.
- Current CPR certification required.
