UCLA African American Studies Department Lecturer Positions

The Department of African American Studies at UCLA is seeking qualified candidates for part-time lecturer positions in various fields, including African diaspora studies, music, religion, history, and cultural studies.
Responsibilities
Lecturers will be responsible for teaching survey courses on African diaspora topics, as well as other courses in their area of expertise. The department is particularly interested in candidates who can teach interdisciplinary courses that incorporate multiple disciplines and perspectives.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field, or be advanced to Ph.D. candidacy. A minimum of two years of teaching experience is preferred, as is a demonstrated record of distinguished undergraduate teaching.
