Broadband Connection Specialist Opportunity

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Broadband Connection Specialist to join our team. As a Broadband Connection Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating fiber services, engaging customers in strategic discussions, and engineering member requests. You will also be responsible for splicing, patching, and conducting light testing on fiber, as well as communicating with customers to plan routes for in-home fiber installation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design and coordinate fiber services, including project plans and costs
* Engage customers in strategic discussions for optimal service
* Engineer member requests and provide cost estimates
* Splice, patch, and conduct light testing on fiber
* Communicate with customers to plan routes for in-home fiber installation
* Coordinate, update, track, and report the status of service drops
* Obtain right-of-way easements, permits, and member agreements
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems
* Educate customers and provide onsite support

**Requirements:**

* High school degree or equivalent
* Knowledge of wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering plans
* Proficient oral and written communication skills
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to ensure job-site safety
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Outstanding problem-solving skills
* Instincts to deliver exceptional customer service
* Passion to learn and educate about new technology
* Valid driver's license

**Preferred Skills:**

* Experience with fiber installation and/or troubleshooting
