Position Overview

People Incorporated of Virginia is in search of dedicated candidates for the role of Educational Support Specialist/Transporter within our Child and Family Development initiative. This position is essential in providing assistance to the classroom educator and delivering direct educational services along with health evaluations for children.

The selected individual will also serve as a bus monitor, ensuring the safety and well-being of children during transportation. Responsibilities include data entry and maintaining necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three months of experience in a classroom setting with children is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; an early childhood credential is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license, an excellent driving record, and reliable transportation are essential.
  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential must be obtained within two years of employment.
