Position Overview:
  • Direct and manage strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and assessment of plant operations and control system efficiency.
  • Establish guidelines, benchmarks, and performance indicators for various control elements, including discrete, continuous, and advanced control, as well as controller hardware and software, and the Human-Machine Interface (HMI).
  • Analyze, design, and implement control methodologies to meet process goals.
  • Set standards and performance metrics for alarm management systems and process control system communications.
  • Assess and suggest process instrumentation options, and outline plant safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 11 years of pertinent Engineering experience in Process Automation, including leadership or supervisory roles; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a Scientific field and 7 years of experience in Engineering or a related Scientific discipline in Process Automation, including leadership or supervisory roles; OR
  • Master's degree in a Scientific field and 5 years of experience in Engineering or a related Scientific discipline in Process Automation, including leadership or supervisory roles.
Criteria/Conditions:
  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety instructions in English.
  • Proficient English communication for job responsibilities, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Able to operate in potentially challenging environments.
  • May necessitate walking or hiking during operational assessments and inspections.
Benefits Offered:
  • Competitive annual salary range of $113,000-$158,000 (base salary), with additional performance-based incentives.
