Locum CRNA Opportunity in New Hampton, IA

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services in a dynamic healthcare setting in New Hampton, IA. This locum opportunity involves 8-hour shifts with flexibility, focusing on surgical cases including cataracts, general surgery (adult and pediatric), minor nerve blocks, and various anesthesia techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including cataract surgeries, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel procedures, and other surgical interventions.
  • Perform IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia (particularly for total knee replacements), and other regional anesthesia techniques as required.
  • Manage ventilation and closely monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
Requirements:
  • Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is required.
  • Active Iowa state nursing license, maintaining compliance with state regulations.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
  • COVID vaccination required
