About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join our team at Cornerstone Research. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide critical support to our corporate groups and consultants, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal counsel and act as a thought leader and business partner to the Firm's corporate groups and consultants.
  • Ensure that the Firm conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare, review, revise, and negotiate agreements and other documents relating to client engagements.
  • Research complex legal issues impacting client engagements and general business obligations.
  • Manage outside counsel as needed.
  • Respond to subpoenas or other inquiries, including from government agencies.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of directly related experience; law firm or professional services firm experience preferred.
  • Leadership: The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.
  • Communication: The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Business acumen: The ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions.
  • Client service: The mindset to provide superior service to our internal and external clients.
  • Juris Doctorate and admission to State Bar are required.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive market base salary for this position between $234,000.00 and $266,000.00. A job offer will depend on how closely a candidate's skills, experience, and education match the requirements for the role. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes annual performance bonus and generous benefits.
