The Store Operations Manager will be tasked with recruiting and onboarding new staff, as well as guiding their professional growth through performance evaluations, objective setting, and advancement opportunities.
We anticipate the Store Operations Manager to possess a comprehensive understanding of every role and responsibility within the establishment.
This position will collaborate with the Owners to introduce new products, coordinate special events, and foster community engagement.
The Store Operations Manager will exemplify excellence in quality, cleanliness, and attitude.Key Responsibilities:
- Complete oversight of all operational duties within the establishment
- Ensuring staff are thoroughly trained and knowledgeable about the menu
- Coordinating employee schedules
- Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as necessary
- Recruiting and training new team members
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Arranging coverage for absent team members
- Collaborating closely with Assistant Managers and shift leaders to uphold food quality and exceptional customer service
- Managing catering orders, large deliveries, and engaging in community events
- Working alongside Owners to achieve food and labor cost objectives
- Addressing any corrective actions needed when team members deviate from established standards
- Ensuring all in-store signage is current and all employee resources are up to date
- Maintaining open communication with the Owners to drive store success
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Hospitality Industry
- Certification as a Food Safety Manager
- At least 2 years of experience at Toastique or in a recognized leadership position
