Job Summary

The Site Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

About the Job:

  • Direct and control site operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and project timelines.
  • Manage and coordinate the construction workforce, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractor partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, and building construction.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver results that meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a commercial and/or institutional general contractor engaged in general building and civil construction.
  • Demonstrated understanding of building plans, specifications, and construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and related site work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Federal Government project experience is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
