  • Advise on concerns with equipment operation, maintenance, and programming
  • Disassemble and reassemble machines to examine parts for wear or defects
  • Align, adjust, or calibrate equipment according to specifications
  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain automated and manual industry machinery and parts
  • Communicate with manufacturers to resolve repair issues

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in agricultural or construction management, or equivalent experience/training
  • 3-4 years of construction/maintenance experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

  • Agricultural swine environment in rural areas
  • Noise levels that require hearing protection in some areas
  • Subject to adverse weather conditions

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, and ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours per day
  • Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
  • Frequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull
  • Frequent lifting of objects weighing 3-20 pounds

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work individually and as a team
  • Must qualify to drive a company vehicle per insurance company requirements
  • Occasional overnight travel
