As a dedicated Helicopter Pilot with Med-Trans Corporation, you will play a crucial role in providing essential medical air transportation services. Your commitment to safety and excellence will ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care during their transport.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $103,227 - $113,551, which includes a 21% Geo Modifier.
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Retention Bonus: $40,000 after three years of service.
On-Duty Housing: Provided
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe and efficient transport of patients to and from various locations.
- Prepare the aircraft for flight in accordance with established manuals, ensuring compliance with all FAR and Med-Trans regulations, as well as maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain precise documentation and records as required by MTC and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, and partner facilities to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide detailed shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, adhering to protocols for recording Med-Trans change board details.
- Stay current with required certifications and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Helicopter instrument rating.
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- 2,000 total flight hours.
- 1,500 helicopter flight hours.
- 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in helicopters.
- 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
- 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).
Preferred Experience:
B407 experience is preferred.
