Physician - Anesthesiologist – Buffalo NY - Outstanding Benefits

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist Physician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of anesthetic care throughout the medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Preparation of Patients: Conduct thorough pre-operative patient exams and assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provision of Anesthesia Services: Provide insensibility to pain during surgical, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures, and manage patients accordingly.
- Monitoring and Restoration of Homeostasis: Monitor and restore homeostasis during the perioperative period, as well as in critically ill, injured, or seriously ill patients.
- Pain Management and Diagnosis: Diagnose and treat painful syndromes, and provide clinical management and teaching of cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation.
- Supervision and Teaching: Supervise, teach, and evaluate the performance of medical and paramedical personnel in anesthesia, respiratory, and critical care.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Conduct research and collaborate in research efforts to identify gaps in evidence and practice, and measure the impact of filling these gaps.
- Administrative Involvement: Participate in administrative involvement in hospitals, medical schools, and outpatient facilities to implement responsibilities.
- Quality Improvement and Education: Involve in quality improvement efforts and provide teaching or training for current University of Buffalo students and residents.
- On-Call Coverage: Provide on-call coverage as required.
- Completed a residency in Anesthesiology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year

- CME: $1,000 per year stipend & 5 days paid absence for conferences, etc.
