We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager I to lead our retail sales team at UScellular. As a Store Manager I, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales and financial goals, and leading a team of retail professionals to execute on the company's vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to new and existing customers, ensuring a positive experience and building customer advocacy.
  • Sales and Operations: Achieve sales goals by planning, teaching, motivating, and mentoring sales teams, and overseeing daily operational processes within the retail store.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and manage a team of retail professionals, including Retail Wireless Consultants and Assistant Managers, to achieve superior results and a high-performance culture.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide clear expectations, timely feedback, and continuous improvement opportunities to team members, and identify associates with advancement potential and provide ongoing development to build skills and capabilities.
  • Store Performance: Maintain store performance through coaching and accountability, and ensure successful onboarding for newly hired associates.
  • Marketing and Community Involvement: Lead marketing efforts in representing UScellular through community involvement and promoting the brand.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or state equivalency certification (GED).
  • Experience: At least two years' sales management experience, one or more years leadership or management experience, and prior experience in building, motivating, and leading teams.
  • Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills, and proficiency in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: Wireless and/or retail sales management experience, and prior experience networking with the local community and supporting small business customers.
  • Skills: Familiarity with various mobile software applications and operating systems (Android, Apple), and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and computerized pricing and inventory control systems.
