We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This individual will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care across the continuum of care.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive health assessments and developing treatment plans for assigned patients
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing non-pharmacological therapies as needed
- Teaching and counseling patients and families on health-related topics
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of best practices
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A master's degree in nursing or a related field and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice registered nurse in the state of Arizona
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software
