- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience.
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including accompanying them to general education classrooms as assigned.
- Model professional standards of appearance, ethics, and behavior to serve as a positive role model for students and parents.
- Be punctual and regular in attendance, dedicating sufficient time to perform assigned duties thoroughly.
- 60 hours of college credit (100 level or higher) with coursework related to early childhood special education or early childhood education.
- Experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of early childhood development, sensitivity to the needs of children with developmental delays, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
