Responsibilities

  • Support Dentists: Anticipate the needs of our dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient use of time.

Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Lead Experience: At least 1 year of Lead experience is required, demonstrating your ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor, providing exceptional patient care and support.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
  • Dental Software and Technology: Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus, enhancing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
State Requirements

Please note that specific state requirements apply to this role. You must meet the requirements outlined below:

  • Connecticut: Certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
  • Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
  • Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
  • Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification, and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
  • Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
  • New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
  • New York: Not applicable.
  • Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays).
  • Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
