MasTec Communications Group is a leading national infrastructure construction company operating throughout the United States. We perform both wireline and wireless communication services on a national scale.
The OHE Foreman Lead is responsible for leading the crew to complete daily tasks and meet customer needs, ensuring crew safety, keeping track of employee hours, completing daily & weekly safety briefings/inspections, and calls in project utility locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain all necessary licenses, permits, and materials for the job.
- Oversee, accomplish, and ensure all work quality related to each project and assume full responsibility for its standard and timeliness.
- Coordinate and delegate daily tasks to crew members related to digging and placing product.
- Gain entry to site buildings for work crew and call in utilities located at each project site.
- Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections to ensure the crews work safely.
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Connect wires and cables to terminals and attach/detach various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, buildings, or poles.
- Perform aerial tasks, such as pole transfers, strand building, and lashing.
- Perform construction work, such as digging holes, air pipe, and inner duct work in various types of conduit systems and open excavations.
- Train new hires and trainees to learn the trade.
- Tracks employee hours, turning them in on time.
- Drive, haul, and/or operate equipment to/from job sites to assist crews in completion of work.
- Keep the job(s) moving on time, clean up, and perform job restoration at the end of job.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work.
