Job Overview

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with our patients, providing continuous care and support to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care to meet their unique needs.
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies to promote healing and recovery.
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Providing health education and training to patients and their families to empower them to take an active role in their care.
  • Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state where you will practice.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required).
  • Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at patient homes.
