The Systems Engineering division is tasked with crafting comprehensive system solutions from the initial concept phase to operational deployment, employing rigorous system engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee personnel engaged in engineering and technical functions within the Systems Engineering domain.
- Formulate and implement project and process strategies, establish policies, and define operational objectives.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, colleagues, and team members while providing guidance and approval on technical methodologies, products, and processes across various locations.
- Manage proposal development and possess a robust understanding of the Government System Acquisition Process along with Boeing's Integrated Business Acquisition Process.
- Comprehend the operational environment of Special Access Programs, including facilities and personnel.
- Supervise program budget and schedule commitments.
- Execute cost account management tasks related to earned value management.
- Lead initiatives to outline and implement execution plans, while negotiating and building consensus among a diverse team.
- Acquire necessary resources for projects and processes, oversee technical management of suppliers, and drive process enhancements.
- Guide, develop, and inspire team members.
Work Environment:
This role is expected to be 100% onsite, requiring the selected candidate to work at the designated location.
Security Clearance:
An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance is mandatory for this position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT).
- At least 5 years of experience in leading or managing multi-disciplinary technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience in satellite or space programs.
- Proficiency in supplier interactions.
- Experience engaging with senior and executive leadership.
- 5+ years as a first-line manager.
- 10+ years of experience in leading technical teams.
- 10+ years of SEIT experience.
