Position Overview

Job Title: Class B Roll-Off Truck Operator

Role Summary:

As a Class B Roll-Off Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the transportation and disposal of solid waste materials, primarily tires. This role requires a commitment to environmental stewardship and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Roll-Off Trucks for the collection of waste materials.
  • Ensure the proper loading, transportation, and disposal of waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Work locally, allowing for nightly returns home.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule as needed.
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles with proficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Class B CDL is mandatory.
  • Maintain a clean-shaven appearance at all times.
  • Tanker endorsement is required; Hazmat endorsement is preferred or must be obtained with company support.
  • No restrictions on automatic transmission.
  • A minimum of one year of recent experience operating Roll-Off Trucks is preferred.
  • Adhere to company guidelines for equipment maintenance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices.
  • Capable of lifting and moving heavy materials as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate electronic driving logs.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal motor carrier safety regulations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Standard Benefits:

  • 6 Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment.
  • 2 Days of Sick Leave annually after 90 days.
  • 2 Days of Bereavement Leave after 90 days, per policy.
  • Eligibility for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance after 90 days.
  • 401k eligibility after one year of employment with a 4% match.
  • Vacation accrual of 40 hours after one year, increasing to 80 hours after three years.
