We are currently seeking an Electrical Service Specialist. This role involves the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures within various facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical wiring for three-phase motor control circuits.
- Set up conduits, fittings, and enclosures to protect electrical wiring and components.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and other relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
- Install or replace circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and associated wiring.
- Connect electrical systems to existing power distribution panels and disconnects.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify necessary repairs.
- Perform additional related tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- In-depth knowledge of three-phase motor control systems and electrical wiring.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Skilled in utilizing test meters and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and possession of a valid electrician's license are mandatory.
Position Type and Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with typical working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must have the ability to distinguish color-coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing are required.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.
- Willingness to work at heights and in high-temperature environments as needed.
