About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Medicaid Eligibility Advocate to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a Medicaid Eligibility Advocate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the financial assistance they need to access quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct eligibility screenings and assessments to determine patient financial needs
- Counsel patients on insurance benefits and co-payments
- Act as a liaison between patients, hospital, and governmental agencies
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay up-to-date on Medicaid policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of one year related experience, preferably in healthcare
