Our Family Medicine Residency Program is an ACGME-accredited, three-year curriculum designed to cultivate future family physicians who excel in primary care, medical education, and community health advocacy.
At Jefferson Health, we are dedicated to addressing health disparities and fostering a culture of safety and inclusion. We are currently looking for a full-time physician to become a Core Faculty member at our Family Medicine clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care
- Provide comprehensive family medicine services
- Welcome procedural and population health interests
- Mentor and support a cohort of 18 Family Medicine residents
- Participate in phone call coverage only
Schedule Options:
- Option 1: Inpatient teaching service for 6-9 weeks, followed by outpatient clinic sessions with a mix of direct patient care and academic responsibilities.
- Option 2: Inpatient teaching service for 6-9 weeks, with a focus on independent patient care in the outpatient clinic.
- Option 3: Inpatient teaching service on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation.
- Option 4: Outpatient focus with collaboration in the Orthopedic Department and dedicated time for sports medicine procedures.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution - Required
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency - Required
- Valid licenses and certifications - Required
