Position Overview:

The primary role of the Facility Maintenance Specialist is to deliver comprehensive cleaning services to our corporate office, ensuring a tidy, organized, and safe workspace for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
Custodians are tasked with maintaining a clean, orderly, and secure environment through a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties within the corporate office.


Specific duties include:
  • Keeping floors in pristine condition through sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing.
  • Ensuring the kitchen and employee lounge are kept clean and tidy.
  • Emptying and sanitizing trash receptacles while managing recycling efforts.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking bathrooms.
  • Maintaining and servicing custodial equipment as necessary.
  • Reporting any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the relevant department.
  • Locking and unlocking windows and doors as required.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Facility Maintenance Specialist position, candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience in custodial or grounds maintenance is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Comfort with squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks is essential.

Additionally, candidates should have a working knowledge of custodial methods, techniques, and materials, as well as familiarity with the operation, care, and storage of custodial equipment and supplies. Excellent customer service skills are also required.
