Job Title: Registered Nurse, Medical Cardiac Unit

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Cardiac Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to work in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular nursing and be able to provide expert care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in cardiovascular nursing
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
