Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Observation Unit team in Rollinsford, New Hampshire.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department Observation Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN licensure.
- 1+ years of experience in an Emergency Department or Observation Unit setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire.
