Occupational Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team at Contra Costa County, CA. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will be responsible for providing a full range of general therapy treatments with a greater degree of independence and proficiency.
Job Summary:The Occupational Therapist II will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for patients with various conditions, including self-care, functional mobility, upper extremity function, and adaptive/assistive equipment. You will also provide technical advice and assistance to less experienced therapists and assist in training them on specialized therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their independence and quality of life.
- Provide therapy services, including self-care, functional mobility, upper extremity function, and adaptive/assistive equipment.
- Assist in providing technical advice and training to less experienced therapists.
- Collaborate with other care providers to ensure proper patient treatment and follow-up.
- Prepare reports of patient treatment, treatment and discharge, planning, and evaluation of treatment services.
- Possession of a valid License or limited Permit to practice as an Occupational Therapist issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
- Two (2) years of full-time or its equivalent experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate issued by the American Heart Association or a CPR certification issued by the American Red Cross.
The Occupational Therapist II will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
