We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Service Technician Lead to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work closely with clients to develop daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills.
- Take vital signs and perform other related medical procedures under the direction of nursing staff.
- Assist in administration of medications and treatments, take vital signs, and/or draw blood or collect other bodily fluids, as directed by a physician or nurse.
- Bathe, groom, shave, and dress clients.
- Conduct activities for recreation and socialization.
- Ensure safety and security of clients.
- Feed clients who are unable to feed themselves.
- Implement assigned parts of client individualized treatment and behavior management plans.
- Transport and/or accompany clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher.
- Turn and re-position bedridden clients, alone or with assistance to prevent bed sores.
- High School and College Degrees Must Be From an Accredited Institution.
- Experience working with forensic individuals, correctional offenders, or a similar population such as juvenile justice youthful offenders.
- Experience supervising others.
- Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License with an acceptable MVR.
- Vacation: 15 days each year up to 5 years of service; 18 days each year from 5-10 years of service; 21 days each year for 10 + years of service.
- Sick Leave: accrual at a rate of 10 hours per month (15 days each year).
- Holidays: the state of Georgia recognizes 12 paid holidays.
- Retirement: 401(k) plan with a matching employer contribution and a Defined Benefit Pension Plan.
