Job Title: Contract Specialist

IndyGo is seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire solicitation cycle, from pre-issuance to post-award, contract administration, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage bid documentation, including determining the type of procurement, issuing bids, and drafting contract documents.
  • Facilitate public meetings, internal evaluation meetings, and the bid evaluation and selection committee process.
  • Conduct contract negotiations and final contract drafting consistent with federal regulations and company policies.
  • Perform contract administration procedures, including negotiating contract disputes to resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations throughout the contract process.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or two years of college coursework in business administration, pre-law, purchasing, or related field.
  • Completion of the National Transit Institute Procurement Series (company-sponsored training) is required within the first 24 months of employment.
  • Understanding of Indiana state and federal purchasing requirements is preferred.
