Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test frameworks using Cucumber, Java, and Rest services.
  • Develop expertise in data validation and processes using SQL, DB2, and Oracle.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environment using tools like JIRA, XRAY, and have solid familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Develop DevOps, CI/CD processes using Maven, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Sonar.
  • Have knowledge on SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, and build processes.
  • Understand Cobol language and VSAM files.
  • Have experience working on Mainframe based systems.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Financial Services domain, preferably mutual funds, stocks, and managed accounts.
  • Experience working on virtual databases like Delphix or data mockup tools like Wire Mock.
  • Worked on Cloud based services using Azure and AWS.
  • Aptitude and Communication skills.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of test automation development using Java or similar language.
  • Experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack.
  • Proven expertise in standard test automation frameworks, data validation, and processes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment and DevOps, CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge on SDLC, coding standards, code reviews, source code management, and build processes.
  • Cobol language understanding, VSAM files, and batch process.
  • Experience in Financial Services domain and working on virtual databases or data mockup tools.
  • Worked on Cloud based services and have practical experience working with functional and regression testing.
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpret business requirements and crystallize stories and acceptance criteria for implementation.
  • Identify risks and develop contingency plans in anticipation of test automation issues.
  • Proven ability to work independently as part of an Agile Sprint, Kanban team/squads.
  • Proven understanding of the software development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, and problem resolution.
  • Use and improve upon an existing automation framework.
