Job Summary:

The Medical Unit Professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in oncology nursing
Requirements:
  • New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN
  • Basic Life Support Training
  • 1 year of Oncology experience preferred
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
