Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Product Development Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Product Team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing state and distribution channel strategies to drive profitability and growth.
Responsibilities- Analyze large data sets to inform strategic business decisions and drive business results.
- Develop and maintain data reports and analysis to support business stakeholders.
- Track competitor rate changes and market share to inform product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product strategies.
- Network with business partners to gain a deeper understanding of business operations.
- Complete a Capstone Project to drive business results and present findings to senior leadership.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Risk Management, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Insurance, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Completion of sophomore or junior year is preferred.
- Involvement in student activities and/or some work experience.
- 3.0 GPA or higher is desired.
- Exposure to insurance and risk management concepts.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, including ability to use judgment in recognizing problems, determining appropriate actions, and implementing solutions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts.
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate in a team environment.
- Natural curiosity to explore and question.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI are preferred.
