**Job Summary:**

Fairview Health Services is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented pharmacy students to join our team as pharmacy interns. As a pharmacy intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, working alongside experienced pharmacists and technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists and technicians with various tasks, including medication preparation and dispensing
  • Gain proficiency in the operations of the inpatient pharmacy, including automated drug distribution systems
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions with clinical pharmacy specialists, pharmacy residents, and other healthcare professionals
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient care and the performance of the pharmacy department
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy team

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a pharmacy program at an accredited institution
  • Pharmacy Technician Registration required (Technician certification encouraged)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
