About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance services for our client's Research Labs and technical facilities at the Indianapolis Corporate Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and communicate building system outages for preventative maintenance
  • Complete annual capital needs assessment based on knowledge of building systems
  • Complete annual Asset Count
  • Provide oversight of both building equipment and preventative maintenance tasks ensuring reliability
  • Participate in all client HSE objectives as directed
  • Ownership of CAD drawings for buildings
  • Coordinate small scale projects with LRL scientists as requested
  • Benchmark and present new facilities technology as feasible for consideration
  • Attend Capital Project meetings related to your buildings and provide technical guidance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred) from an ABET accredited university
  • Minimum of three years of experience in facilities management
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of laboratory building systems, maintenance, and utilities
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, clients, and management
