Role Overview

The Support Specialist is a full-time position responsible for delivering phone-based goal-oriented support services to program participants, guiding them towards achieving specific, measurable goals tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support services via phone to program participants, employing active listening and empathetic communication techniques to establish trust and rapport.
  • Facilitate incoming transfer calls from frontline support staff, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care for program participants requesting immediate clinical intervention or counseling support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of participants' life, work, emotional, financial, mental, and behavioral health needs, identifying areas requiring support and development opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent communication with program participants, their care team, and local support resources as outlined in participants prescribed wellness plans, facilitating coordination and continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in a mental health discipline and/or related field.
  • A valid, independent (does not require supervision), and unrestricted license in behavioral health.
  • Reside in Washington State.
  • 2+ years of experience providing evidence-based treatments, short-term psychotherapy using outcomes management, and delivering clinical support via phone.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a high level of proficiency in adhering to a disciplined schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (communication and listening), especially over the phone, and a willingness to receive feedback.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of $43 - $48 per hour, based on factors such as experience, skills, location, and interview outcome.
