Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and accurately document observations.
- Identify and address educational needs of patients, offering necessary guidance.
- Promptly communicate any changes in patient status to the appropriate team members.
- Develop and refine patient care strategies based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients to ensure optimal care.
- Administer medications with precision and monitor patient reactions.
- Oversee and mentor patient care technicians as required.
- Exhibit strong leadership and conflict management abilities.
Mandatory:
- Active Illinois Registered Nursing license.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least two years of RN experience in critical care or specialized units.
- A minimum of one year of RN experience in non-critical care settings.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- National Certification in the relevant specialty area.
