Compensation and Benefits

  • $2,000 sign-on bonus (for qualifying external candidates)
  • Up to $10,000 relocation bonus (based on distance of move)

Role Summary

The Cardiovascular Technician III plays a vital role within the MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute team, tasked with delivering technical support during various diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. This position emphasizes quality care, prioritizing the comfort and well-being of both patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct patient care activities under the supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse.
  • Ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room.
  • Complete necessary Cath Lab specific documentation.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialized equipment.

Qualifications

  • Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or currently enrolled in the second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program.
  • RCIS certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Current AHA, BLS, and ACLS CPR certifications at the time of hire.
  • All staff are encouraged to utilize the Computer Based Cath Lab Orientation 12-week module program as a resource to become registry ready.
  • Proof of a safe driving record (meeting established MultiCare Standards) obtained via a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state.

Compensation and Benefits Overview

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. The starting pay for this position is $39.42, with a pay scale up to $63.20 USD. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including skill set, experience level, and certifications or education. If this position is union-associated, pay will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's years of experience.
