Job Overview: As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. You will be responsible for guiding patients through their treatment plans, discussing financial options, and ensuring they fully understand the procedures recommended by our dentists. Your ability to build trust and communicate effectively with patients will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans.
- Treatment Education: Educate patients on their treatment options, procedures, and the importance of follow-through.
- Appointment Coordination: Coordinate and schedule appointments for treatments in an efficient and patient-friendly manner.
- Financial Arrangements: Discuss financial arrangements, including insurance benefits, payment plans, and costs associated with treatment.
- Record Keeping: Work closely with dental staff to ensure all patient records are accurate and up to date.
- Treatment Tracking: Assist in tracking and following up on treatment acceptance and patient satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the front office and clinical teams to enhance the overall patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Treatment Coordinator or in a similar role within a dental practice.
- Insurance Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of PPO and HMO insurance plans.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Dentrix & RevenueWell.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Patient-Centered Approach: A patient-centered approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
