Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage across all Global Indirect Tax activities, including audit and controversy, tax solutions for special projects, and outsourced indirect tax compliance operations.
  • Use technology solutions to drive compliance with tax laws and process improvements.
  • Identify areas of concern, assist with remediation, and support recovery of prior tax overpayments/under recoveries.
  • Support the centralization and continuous enhancement of indirect tax operations, technology implementations, and Consumer Direct Acceleration initiatives.
  • Implement, document, and maintain Nike policies and procedures for indirect tax processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industry or tax consultancy positions working in indirect taxes.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with applications such as Alteryx, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
  • Ability to complete legal research, apply interpretations, and communicate potential implications.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with ability to engage in multiple ongoing tasks.
