About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Risk Management Team as a Safety Manager. This critical role will be responsible for developing and implementing safety procedures and processes to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for safety across all locations, districts, and brands, working closely with store managers and key individuals to ensure a robust safety program.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and regulations, performing data collection and responding to government agencies as needed.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Food Safety Program, working with store locations to ensure full compliance.
  • Conduct hazard and safety program assessments to identify areas of opportunity and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform loss analysis to identify key areas of injury and claims activity, and develop corrective measures to mitigate risks.
  • Communicate safety and injury trends, along with corrective actions, to various stakeholders, including district managers, vice presidents, and operations teams.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Partner with the Claims Department to identify areas of opportunity and success in employee, customer, and vendor trends and exposures.
Requirements
  • Effective educator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in industrial trucks, food safety, and industrial hygiene, with a willingness to obtain certifications as needed.
  • Ability to travel to perform work duties, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
