Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving assigned sales goals for one or more properties. This individual will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong relationships with clients, and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue growth and sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including existing and new business accounts
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform sales decisions and optimize sales processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; previous hotel sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence others
  • Experience with professional selling skills, including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with strong organization and presentation skills
