Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Technician II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to physicians and other healthcare providers in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of orthopedic injuries and diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established orthopedic procedures to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the functionality of the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ORTHO-Orthopedic Technician certification or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience in an orthopedic setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of orthopedic principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret data and instructions in various formats.
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
