Job Title: Software Engineer Specialist

FIS Management Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our digital banking team, you will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to gather and analyze business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the full systems life cycle, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications.
  • Design and develop REST APIs using IFX model, and utilize Web Services, JQuery, JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, XSLT, XPath, and HTML, J2EE, Java, JDK 1.11, Enterprise Java Beans, MDB, JBOSS server, Spring, Spring Boot, Eclipse, Core Metrics, Maven, OpenShift, Bitbucket, Hibernate, and JPA.
  • Collaborate on development projects using Git and Jenkins, and work with database design technologies including Oracle and support software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Scrum, Safe Agile, and waterfall methodologies.
  • Develop groovy scripts to maintain application CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins using Git, Containerization, and Kubernetes.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain financial services software applications including e-Banking products.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and systems to facilitate easier handovers and collaboration among team members.
  • Involved in code reviews, focusing on optimizing the code for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Developing web applications and backend services using Angular, REST API, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, HTML, Java, J2EE, EJB, Struts, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Swing.
  • Integrating with authentication using JWT, OAuth, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Working with development projects collaborated on DevOps CI/CD pipeline, GitHub, Jenkins, Git, Containerization, and Kubernetes.
  • Working with security scan tools including Veracode and Blackduck and performing remediation of security vulnerabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in the above-listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above-listed skills.
